A 23-year veteran of the U.S. Navy, Mark retired from activ duty in 2006 as a Chief Petty Officer. His first book, Forever Avalon, was published in 2009. He has published several books since then and won numerous awards, including the Firebird Book Award, the Bookfest Book Award, the Golden Wizard Book Prize, and AGI Indie Book Award Grand Prize for Fiction. In 2020, he signed with Curious Corvid Publishing from Geneva, Ohio. Mark works as a writer-editor for the Department of Housing and Urban Development.
